Executive Member Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Dr. Shumail Daud Arain said Pak-Turkey business has crossed one billion dollars in recent years.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Shumail has said that the two countries have strong trading relations with a great potential to excel in this sphere.

business00To a question he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Turkey is aimed at attracting Turkish investors and transfer of technology to Pakistan.

He remarked that Pak-Turkey relations including that of trade will prove beneficial, if the exchange of delegations takes place between the two countries on regular basis.

He said Turkey has great role in regional politics especially in Syria and Egypt and both Pakistan and Turkey should make joint strategy to bring stability in region.

He reckoned that special cell established in the Prime Minister Office is good sign to facilitate foreigner investors.

He said cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey will pave the way for energy and economic development in the country.
